VIC RACKERS

Vic Rackers for District 59 Representative
Rackers, 58, is a Cole County lifelong native who attended Immaculate Conception grade school, Jefferson City High School, and is a graduate of Missouri S&T. He is married to Eileen of thirty-five years and has three married children and four grandchildren. They also have a son and son-in-law serving in the military. Together both enjoy life on their farm where they hunt, raise cattle, make hay, and run horses on the east side of Cole County adjacent to the Moreau River.Vic is a retired civil engineer from the state where he developed infrastructure on MDC lands. He taught construction at State Tech, managed projects for Lincoln University, and reconstructed abandoned coal mine lands at DNR for private landowners throughout the state of Missouri before retiring in 2019.He is an active, informed, community minded citizen who is currently serving on multiple boards and has volunteered for many years at church and various organizations. Vic proudly serves on the Cole County Republican Central Committee, the MU Extension Council, Capital Chapter of the Missouri Right to Life, Knights of Columbus and the Bugle Boy Advisory Board.Vic is very active in the Pro-Life cause and believes every unborn child is entitled to their God given constitutional right to life. He stands for limiting government and taxes, promoting personal freedoms and protecting individual liberties. He believes the 2nd Amendment as well as the 1st should not be infringed upon. If elected Vic work to ensure the Republican led Missouri legislature will accomplish more to benefit its citizens and will work toward that goal. His life experiences of raising a family, working as an engineer throughout the state, farming, and volunteering will make him a great advocate, who is accessible and accountable at the Capitol for the citizens of the 59th District.
